@aquigorka checking how gmail mobile clients handles other sections triggered from the burger menu - it first closes the menu panel and then opens the tapped modal/section on top of everything else. I think we can do the same

on desktop the modals/panels just open on top of everything else (since have an always visible app panel and no burger menus)
