dataspects | Or should we turn to "on invitation only"? | 17:03:05 |
cicalese | It used to be invitation only, but that had to be disable to allow people to create accounts in order to become members. It would be great if instead of creating the account first that the account would be created as a byproduct of becoming a member if an account does not already exist. | 17:04:55 |

justinl | Hey all, we're seeing an error when MW 1.35 is trying to load an SVG image under the top-level resources directory, resources/src/mediawiki.skinning/images/magnify-clip-ltr.svg but the problem seems to be that it's prepending /wiki/ to that request, so trying to access /wiki/Resources/src/mediawiki.skinning/images/magnify-clip-ltr.svg , causing Nginx to fail with a 404. | 18:04:52 |
justinl | Removing the /wiki as a test does work. Not sure what is actually requiring that image, but so far I'm only aware of it on one page in our wikis, but probably others as well. | 18:05:44 |
justinl | Looking at the page that is trying to load that SVG file, I don't see a reference to that image, but the only instances of "magnify" on the page are a div class, i.e. <div class="magnify"><a href="/wiki/.../path/to/image.png> for example | 18:09:19 |
rundg | justinl: is the page public? | 19:20:55 |
rundg | I'm guessing that it's a CSS reference to the .svg and that the URL set in the CSS is absolute - which somehow conflicts with your setup for wgScriptPath | 19:22:11 |
justinl | I did notice that the error only happens when logged out. Logging in fixes it, not sure why, yet. I've pinged our main editor who noticed it. They have a lot of custom CSS and JS defined in our wikis, so that could well be the case. | 19:32:04 |

Georgios Mavropalias | Would it make sense for MW to transition the issue tracking from phabricator to Gitlab? I thought phabricator is usefull when MW still used gerrit | 15:55:45 |
