Unfortunately when creating an account on pcbway.com I failed verifying the account. It was possible to log in and fill my cart with the pcb and case. I saw the STL file of the TOP LID and it makes me think that for correct printing it needs to be reversed...
At the same time, for the BOTTOM there are slits, how are they treated?
Does the slicer automatically generate media or what?

| positionhigh | yes, you should print the lid with the cover side down to the printing surface. you do not need to print any support stuctures with it. the bottom part usualy also works without support but you can auto-add it in case you get any deformations for the holes or slits.
I suggest to print a "brim" around the outer perimeters, doing so minimizes the changes that the print comes loose from the platform during printing. Everything else i think is very specific to your printer, your slicer etc. If you run into any issues, let us know what exactly the problem is.
As an alternative, you can order a SLA printed case from pcbway - just in case you do not know about it. | 19:50:34 |
