BERLIN — A former champion cyclist who won two gold medals at the 1976 Olympics has been convicted by a German court in a child sexual abuse case. Gregor Braun was found guilty on Wednesday by a regional court in the southwestern city of Tuebingen of sexually abusing a child, soliciting the serious sexual abuse of a child and soliciting the production of abuse imagery in several cases. He was sentenced to 33 months' imprisonment, the court said in a statement Thursday. During the trial, judges heard that Braun, 67, had for years paid for a woman to bring her young daughter along to sex dates, starting when the girl was 6 years old.

▫️Six-year-old daughter taken on sex dates: prison sentences
A 35-year-old woman has been sentenced to three years and nine months in prison because she practiced sexual acts in front of her six-year-old daughter for years. The Tübingen district court found the mother guilty of sexual abuse, some of which was severe, in 33 cases. Because, according to the verdict, she also took nude photos of her daughter and gave them to her sex partner, the woman was also convicted of producing child pornography.

A Central Coast man was sentenced to five years’ imprisonment at Gosford District Court yesterday (23 June, 2023) for child abuse-related offences. The man, 56, pleaded guilty in March 2023 to four offences relating to the access and possession of child abuse material, which the AFP found when they sorted through 10 terabytes worth of data on his computer, phone and other storage devices.

A board of inquiry will examine allegations of historical child sexual abuse at Beaumaris Primary School in Melbourne's southeast in the 1960s and 1970s. Leifer, a 56-year-old mother of eight, was principal and head of religion at the school until she was sacked by the board in 2008 when allegations first came to light.

Our team in India received a tip about a young girl who was being trafficked at a hotel-based brothel in western India. Upon investigation, The Exodus Road operatives found that, indeed, a very young-looking 15-year-old girl from Bangladesh was being trafficked and sold for sex. As our team worked with local law enforcement to set up a rescue operation for the girl, they quickly realized this girl was not alone. She was caught in a much bigger international trafficking operation. After significant planning, a team of more than 40 officers conducted joint raids on more than five brothels simultaneously. The raids were successful, resulting in freedom of more than a dozen young women, in addition to the young Bangladeshi girl.
