On the "counting their money" note, see this (amongst many). Also since I studied financing I can verify this too; every company has a monthly/ annual report, that summarises a company's activity, performance, revenues...etc.

See, it's not a secret thing. When I was estimating tuta's approximate revenue, it's not a secret thing, or undermining, or bad. Should try to get out of that mindset honestly. However, if a company doesn't have a monthly report / annual report, it just means that they like staff and resources.

See, it's not a secret thing. When I was estimating tuta's approximate revenue, it's not a secret thing, or undermining, or bad. Should try to get out of that mindset honestly. However, if a company doesn't have a monthly report / annual report, it just means that they lack staff and resources to generate the report, as it does require a finance personnel or a knowledge worker in that aspect.
