That is certainly surprising (I was already aware of not being able to delete posts).

And apologies to everyone, I fell asleep earlier due to exhaustion from not enough sleep, and will be going to sleep soon, since I need to wake up early again (substituting the usual escort in my sister's ride this week for most of the school week, a.k.a. from Sunday to Thursday (Friday there is someone else)).

In the past we've had members who would delete their posts sporadically. It was surprisingly disruptive, so it got nerfed

It's 2 or 3 years by now that I have installed Linux for my parents on their 2007 iMac. And whenever they see some article in their local newspaper about some linux class or linux info event in town, they tell me, maybe we should attend. And then, I always roll my eyes and am thinking: they are literally exclusively using their computer for web browsing, email and spreadsheets. So why go to a talk or whatever about linux.
