@sa56:52k.de@sa56:52k.deVery unspecific question, I know: is there a known bug of having a lot of "ghost" tmp containers? I think they were created through sync conflicts, and now tmp containers doesn't recognize them. After deletion using container helper, they reappear twice. Any ideas, or is more information like logs needed? Thanks ^^06:20:11

@hobbitus:matrix.org@hobbitus:matrix.org SA56: I'm not sure if I used to experience the same, but I used to have such problem when I used to synchronised Open tabs between different Firefox sessions. Thus I would have 'ghost' tabs which were not on my computer, but they would be either on another device or just still in sync etc.
I still have a bit problem with Temporary containers, they should delete as soon as the last tab closes, reuse available numbers and delete history, yet occasionally I can see tabs with number which should be deleted, or whilst no tab open it would start with random higher number and jump to another random number etc. I guess it could be when Firefox session is not properly closed, eg when laptop runs out of battery, and then I don't resume the session and start new.
In such situation I close all instances and delete any Temp containers, sync with the Firefox account (even though it should not sync the containers, it sync history), and then it usually works fine.

@hobbitus:matrix.org@hobbitus:matrix.orgIs it possible to have TC which deletes history without the notification in address bar? As it is each TC would have 'TMP1-deletes-history' which unnecessarily is taking too much of the space, TMP1 would be sufficient as I know that all TC will delete history.19:44:30

@oxwivi:matrix.orgteh 1 How are the links opened from other addons treated? Can this be changed? For context, I opened links from Brook Feed Reader and it opened in the container of whatever tab that was active instead of new container as dictated by automatic mode. 13:17:41

@bumbag3t:matrix.org@bumbag3t:matrix.orgtemp container auto mode works by creating a new container tree when you create a new tab/window. If you open a link in a container the link will stay in. If you want to open the link in a new container, you gotta right click: open in new temp container16:21:10
@bumbag3t:matrix.org@bumbag3t:matrix.orgyou can isolate per domain if you want to keep things a bit more organized (i never use this though) 16:22:17

@bumbag3t:matrix.org@bumbag3t:matrix.orgin the global settings you'll also find the middle mouse button / ctrl+left click shortcuts rebinds so you can open by default in a new container from your browser RSS reader16:24:30
