77676m | 1.We do not block the connection with a firewall. 2.There is no filtering, blocking, or registration. what else do we need to check? | 12:46:15 |
Saša Tomić [DFINITY] | I've forwarded the comment to the node team. I'll let you know as soon as they answer something. I know that they have been building a "verbose" mode where you would be able to get more logs on the node, which should give you more insight into the cause of the failure. They should answer with instructions to enable it. | 13:10:50 |

As proof APNIC can back us up https://forum.dfinity.org/t/subnet-management-pzp6e-fiduciary/33664/14 What do you does everyone think ? | 13:21:00 |

andrewbattat [DFINITY] | Hello 77676m ! Apologies that you're having deployment troubles. I see that you are using a deployment from 2023. Please use the latest release. This should solve your issue. | 13:23:28 |

David Frank | Hi Malith, I've been looking into what may have caused the discrepancy between VSCode and nano. If you still have the two versions, could you please share them (either here or to my email address: david.frank@dfinity.org). Please redact any private data that may be in the config. | 09:58:36 |
Malith Hatanachchige | Actually no I dont have the file anymore, VScode might have character encoding issue. We can try on friday once the proposal is accepted to migrate the CM1 nodes. | 13:08:06 |
Malith Hatanachchige | Hi everyone, I’ve created a small script to help with verifying IP addresses using ASN RDAP. This script aims to find the actual country where an IP address is being broadcast from, rather than just the country of the subnet it belongs to. Please note that this script is not intended to be the definitive method for verifying the accuracy of an IP’s location, nor is it meant to penalize any node providers. Instead, it’s designed to assist with verification and contribute to improving the Internet Computer network. It can also be used as a proof of concept for better location verification methods. I hope this tool can be helpful for anyone looking to enhance their verification processes. Feel free to try it out! | 18:55:28 |

Malith Hatanachchige | CM1 nodes migrated successfully 🎊🍾 with new IPv6 block. Thank you so much from All NP members and most of all Saša Tomić [DFINITY] and Sven Fischer for the support. We can now issue any amount of IPv4 blocks, let me know which nodes will require IPv4 we can add them as we go 😁. We will continue to keep 100% uptime for all nodes like we did in the past 12 months | 16:00:32 |

Saša Tomić [DFINITY] | Hi all. As a part of the uzr34 incident earlier this year, and of ongoing effort to improve communication channels with node providers, we would like to create a separate matrix room/channel per node provider or per DC. This would allow us to improve the signalt-to-noise ratio and in return improve the communication velocity overall.Do you have any preference if we create a room per NP 1️⃣ or per DC 2️⃣? Please respond with an emoji. | 15:30:04 |

Dallas W | Hi Dfinity team, we are currently having a degraded node with IC_Networking_UniStreamAppError on the dashboard. Just check there is no error displaying on the screen. Is there any idea for this situation? | 00:31:35 |
Louise Velayo | Aviate Labs | Hey Dallas W , I had the same issue with one of my nodes. A reboot seemed to do the trick! | 03:07:01 |

About this, we realized that https://wiki.internetcomputer.org/robots.txt isn't enough, but we found another way -- using https://search.google.com/search-console/welcome we removed this page from indexing. | 07:23:54 |
