@volobo:matrix.orgVolodymyrAccording to the logs my node works fine, but has a Status IC_Orchestrator_VersionBehind14:03:47

Hello NoviSystems ! Sorry for the delay, but the verbose flag has been implemented and included in the latest release! Thank you for your patience.

You can enable the verbose flag when you edit the config.ini file.

Then, you can install your node as normal and this should give us more indication as to what's going wrong in GuestOS. Please screen-record the console during the installation and share the video with me. Thank you!

Seems like node's time is incorrect:

Jul 08 14:29:42 guest-7cc25577ba2e orchestrator[1738]: {"log_entry":{"level":"WARN","utc_time":"2024-07-08T14:29:42.130Z","message":"Polling the NNS registry failed: Error when trying to fetch updates from NNS: UnknownError(\"Failed to query get_certified_changes_since on canister rwlgt-iiaaa-aaaaa-aaaaa-cai: HTTP Client: Request to http://[2600:c0d:3002:4:6801:94ff:fec9:6b]:8080/api/v2/canister/rwlgt-iiaaa-aaaaa-aaaaa-cai/query failed with \\\"Bad Request\\\", \\\"Ok(\\\\\\\"Specified ingress_expiry not within expected range: Minimum allowed expiry: 2024-07-08 14:24:01.878445884 UTC, Maximum allowed expiry: 2024-07-08 14:29:31.878445884 UTC, Provided expiry:        2024-07-08 14:33:42.028644279 UTC\\\\\\\")\\\"\")","crate_":"ic_registry_replicator","module":"ic_registry_replicator","line":346,"node_id":"","subnet_id":""}}

Could you please try to adjust the node time? There is a service on the node that should adjust node time automatically, I'll check with the node team if they can figure out why it isn't working as expected.

14:46:36
@sasa-tomic:matrix.orgSaša Tomić [DFINITY]Because the node has incorrect time (a few secs into the future), it's not able to see that it should be running on a different version, so it lags behind.14:51:34
@novisystems:matrix.orgNoviSystems Hi andrewbattat [DFINITY] no worries. Something must have changed between this and the previous release because I followed the exact same steps with the new release (outside of enabling the verbose flag) and it went through fine and joined the IC. Node ID is clgez-cnier-zieyq-77d3d-njbsf-p34cx-pbzm4-stdmo-wy62k-d5ng3-4ae. 20:31:43
@novisystems:matrix.orgNoviSystemsCan I (or you) disable this option now that the node was successfully deployed? Am I in the clear to create a proposal to set rewards now that everything is working as expected?20:33:49

If a few-second difference is so important, how do I adjust it manually? What do you suggest I do?
I use the automatic time settings
22:44:12
@andrewbattat:matrix.organdrewbattat [DFINITY]That's great to hear! The option can't be disabled, but it should have no impact on the functionality—it'll just muddy up your console unfortunately. Yes, you can create your proposal to set rewards if you have completed all your node onboarding!23:01:51

@novisystems:matrix.orgNoviSystems Finally submitted the proposal to correct rewards, turns out this has been quite the journey :). Thanks again for your help, Andrew. 00:51:31
@novisystems:matrix.orgNoviSystems

Although it's taken about a month, I have finally relocated one of my nodes. The proposal to correct the reward configuration is #131011 and I would greatly appreciate the community and foundation's support to get it approved. I have already removed/unregistered the old node entry from the NNS.

Thank you!!

I did it, I fixed the problem.

I set the time in the BIOS to GMT-1, and everything worked. 😀

@sasa-tomic:matrix.orgSaša Tomić [DFINITY]Not sure what happened with the node, but seems to have been transient. Looks healthy now.16:27:28

Hi Saša Tomić [DFINITY] My below listed nodes are offline since yesterday. Servers are accessible and I'm able to ping them. shall I give a reboot ? Kindly assist/suggest on this.

@katie-dfinity:matrix.orgKatie Peters (DFINITY) Mariano Stoll: Please email me or Sven ASAP if you want rewards this month. It seems that you have no correct rewards proposal, and I'm not sure whether there's time to fix it before minting. 18:55:17
@b.vadhia:matrix.orgBhavik Vadhia Any update on these offline nodes? Request you to suggest on this with priority. 20:34:49
@sasa-tomic:matrix.orgSaša Tomić [DFINITY] Hi Bhavik Vadhia , yes please try to reboot them first. 20:35:49
