Hello @room!
We’re thrilled to share that we’ve reached an awesome milestone: 500 members in the CorsixTH Server!
It’s been amazing to see this community grow from something small, reaching 100 members in September 2021, now standing proudly at 500 members. We’re excited to continue growing and evolving together to make this space even better for everyone involved. Here’s a look at some upcoming changes to help make the CorsixTH Discord a more enjoyable place to be.
## Profanity Filters
Following feedback, we’ve reviewed and refined the curse word list in AutoMod. Minor cursing will now be filtered less strictly, though moderators will continue to address any disrespectful behaviour (something we’re thankful has never been an issue!). Filters for sexualized content remain active. If there are any issues with filtering we can address them as needed.
## 🎏 Translations Section to be Retired
The translations section hasn’t seen much activity since it was introduced, so we’ll be simplifying it to a single channel. The @translator role will remain, and ✨Threads✨ may be enabled as it won’t be bridged to Matrix.
## Discord-Specific Channels
Currently, we don’t have many Discord-specific channels. As our server grows, we may expand into more topic-specific channels. When that time comes, we’ll invite the community to help shape the channels we create.
## Optional Updates
Soon, a new role called @extra-updates will be created for #đź’¬announcements that are optional.

### New Moderator Position Available!
As our community expands, we’ve realized that our current level of moderation may not always be sufficient for quick responses to issues. We’re now accepting applications for a new moderator (or possibly two)! Pretty much as long as you've stayed around here for a while you can apply. Applications close on 31/10/24 at 12:00 PM GMT.
