 m1sterc001guy | I compiled/linked rocksdb from source today to try and test out the new async I/O API that recently got merged. It appears to be working, I'll see if I can write a unit test to validate the read perf is actually better (writes are already async since they write to memory and do compaction in the background).
If we want to merge this in fedimint we'll probably need to wait for a new rocksdb release then submit a PR to rust-rocksdb. | 03:58:21 |

The PR has some TODO comments that I would like to know your opinions on, and I can fix/work on it in this PR or just remove them if it's not needed.
I'm also researching about nix/flakes modules and updating them to have them inside the test environment and available for the integration tests, but still baby steps on this one 🙂 | 21:30:44 |
