Hello, community. I'm using Linux for daily use, not delving too deep into the system. Does anyone have experience with EndeavourOS, Fedora and OpenSUSE? Which distro is preferable for regular Linux users? If I just want to install linux, once configured and fully use the OS, in the future maybe games to run, I do not play yet. I use KDE + Wayland Hey there. I'm using EndeavourOS with KDE + Wayland on my main PC and laptop. I'm a pretty casual user I'd say. Arch can be a bit unstable if the updates introduce bugs so it's a little risky to use in my opinion. The AUR has almost anything you want to install. Some people use backups which they can revert the system to if things go south after an update, but I've never tried it. I feel like something more stable than Arch would be better but I've been using it for over a year now with minimal problems. At some point I might look into system backups and btrfs, and whatnot. I'd be interested in finding out how stable Fedora and Tumbleweed are, if anyone here has used those. | 01:36:39 |
