@iinuwa:matrix.org | Has anyone hooked into Azure AD's reporting APIs to get information about password changes and resets? I went here but it doesn't give me enough info to move forward. | 20:22:46 |

qubert49 | In reply to @raghava:matrix.org Can anyone please explain me what is the difference between onprem data center and private cloud if we reframe the question to "what is makes a cloud a cloud", would that not be the internet? | 08:39:44 |
saitama | In reply to @qubert49:matrix.org if we reframe the question to "what is makes a cloud a cloud", would that not be the internet? Yes ok u are saying if we use a seperate date for the organization from remote over internet that is called private cloud | 08:44:03 |

qubert49 | In reply to @raghava:matrix.org Yes ok u are saying if we use a seperate data center for the organization from remote over internet that is called private cloud sorry - i was saying that if we are connected to servers and machines on a network that isnt connected over the internet - then I would call that "on-prem" as all the machines are located and accessed on premises. The moment these devices provide services over the internet i would call them cloud enabled. The moment i provide these services to consumers outside my network i would consider them publicly accessible cloud else they would privately accessible cloud. "Cloud" does have other connotations such as automation, but this is my baseline understanding of the concepts. | 08:47:54 |
