@bridge-bot:matrix.orgbridge-bot <zoltar>Hi, I won some ANJ today in the Decentraland Treasure Hunt. Is it possible to transfer the ANJ to another account via Metamask? I already added the token adress but the transfer failed so I wanted to check with you here. 22:09:16

@bridge-bot:matrix.orgbridge-bot <proofoftom>I'd also like to drop by to announce a proposal for an alliance. Am working on a two way bridge between Aragon and Colony to enable an Aragon Experts network. Please provide your feedback here: https://forum.aragon.org/t/aragon-colonies-experimentation/1873 17:10:42

@bridge-bot:matrix.orgbridge-bot <uptre>Hello. Is there any way to access some productive projects that use aragonOS? 01:32:08
@bridge-bot:matrix.orgbridge-bot <uptre>I want to know, until now, whether aragonOS is widely used 01:33:32
@bridge-bot:matrix.orgbridge-bot <light>@uptre every Aragon organization - of which there are over 1000 - uses aragonOS. There are also some projects that use aragonOS or parts of it standalone. Some examples can be found on this page: https://wiki.aragon.org/about/projects/#using-aragonos 03:34:23
@bridge-bot:matrix.orgbridge-bot <uptre>Thanks very much! 03:55:47
@bridge-bot:matrix.orgbridge-bot <oooryan>So in learning about this new concept, and im curious how this way of voting (voting for what you think the majority of people would vote for) is better than voting impartially 19:36:56
26 Feb 2020
@bridge-bot:matrix.orgbridge-bot <light>@oooryan you are referring to the Aragon Court juror voting, right? if so, the reason you want to vote for what you think the majority votes for instead of voting “impartially” is because if you don’t vote with the majority (or, plurality, if more than two outcomes are voted on) then you will suffer a financial penalty. 16:25:30
27 Feb 2020
@bridge-bot:matrix.orgbridge-bot <oooryan>Oh yah I understand that, but why was it created that way, penalizing the minority voters, what is the theory behind making a decision based on what everyone else would vote for 01:15:02
@bridge-bot:matrix.orgbridge-bot <oooryan>It mentions something about he shelling point on the website but I still don’t understand 01:15:17
@bridge-bot:matrix.orgbridge-bot <oooryan>Schelling * 01:15:38
@bridge-bot:matrix.orgbridge-bot <sirius>I have the same question with you. 14:58:17
@bridge-bot:matrix.orgbridge-bot <light>@oooryan @sirius the aragon court is an open system, anyone can become a juror. implemented naively, it would be possible for someone to takeover the court and rule in favor of themselves and their friends at little to no cost. so there is a need to create some kind of incentive for jurors to converge on the “most correct” outcome for a dispute and make it costly to diverge from the “most correct” outcome. this is where game theory and mechanism design come in.

we tell jurors that if they do not vote with the majority (or plurality) then they will suffer a financial penalty. ok, so jurors just vote all the same way right? well there’s a catch: jurors don’t know how other jurors are going to vote, and if a juror tries to reveal their vote pre-maturely then they will suffer a financial penalty for doing that too. so jurors have an incentive to vote with the majority/plurality and have to vote the way they think all the other jurors will think all of the other jurors will think is the majority, and so on.

the idea here being that the outcome that jurors think most other jurors think is the correct outcome probably is the most correct outcome, and therefore the best possible resolution of the dispute. this means participants in the system are incentivized to converge on the best outcome for the dispute participants - a valuable feature of a dispute resolution system!

you can read more about the cryptoeconomic considerations of Aragon Court in the technical documentation: https://github.com/aragon/aragon-court/tree/master/docs/3-cryptoeconomic-considerations#3-crypto-economic-considerations

@bridge-bot:matrix.orgbridge-bot <mars>https://hack.aragon.org/docs/guides-use-agent#installing-aragon-agent

On next iteration of this guide we will explain 3 new use cases:

  • Interacting with Compound
  • Creating an Aragon Trust
  • Opening a Maker CDP

I think Agent is extremely powerful.

I'd love to see the advanced docs created… I think that can be bountified on Gitcoin?

12:33:58
@bridge-bot:matrix.orgbridge-bot <light>not sure what coins you’re referring to, but generally speaking you can store any ethereum-based tokens using MEW + Trezor 15:59:05
@bridge-bot:matrix.orgbridge-bot <light>there is no “official” Aragon telegram group 15:59:27
