Is this still true if you turn off icloud backups and encrypt the local backup via iTunes? If you make a local encrypted itunes backup on your computer and make sure, that you have turn off the icloud backups, it would protect you against the NSA etc. | 12:55:53 |

If you make a local encrypted itunes backup on your computer and make sure, that you have turn off the icloud backups, it would protect you against the NSA etc. But please remember: ALL of your Data, that are sync with your icloud account (Apple ID) are still accessible to law enforcement. Turn off all of the icloud sync options (like iCloud Photos, Safari, Siri, Books, Mail and other) when you want to make sure, that these data isn't accessible to law enforcement. But pls let iMessage active for iCloud sync, cause it protect your Messages with end-to-end encryption, if you have turn two-factor on for your Apple ID (strongly reconemmend). | 12:59:09 |
