@david:vovo.id.audavoWould it be worth adding python3-sentry-sdk to the matrix-synapse Suggests?04:20:21
@emorrp1:freedombox.emorrp1.nameemorrp1"exclusively required by unit test code." so seems it would be better off in autopkgtests?08:48:50
@david:vovo.id.audavoit's required if you add sentry to your config as well08:50:17
@emorrp1:freedombox.emorrp1.nameemorrp1Fair enough, seems reasonable if it has built in support08:55:56

@emorrp1:freedombox.emorrp1.nameemorrp1 andrewsh: I know 0.99 was a bit of a special case, but is the security support going to be a problem for buster? 14:22:46
@emorrp1:freedombox.emorrp1.nameemorrp1have you had discussions with upstream about possibly having annual LTS releases at the end of the year?14:23:49
@emorrp1:freedombox.emorrp1.nameemorrp1hmm, debian soft freeze is 12th Feb, ubuntu import freeze is 27th Feb, so actually looks like they could do LTS releases at Christmas or January14:29:39

yes, don't think the one in stable has one security patch because of major architectural differences in software and upstream wasn't interested to backport

@emorrp1:freedombox.emorrp1.nameemorrp1upstream, or at least matthew, seems very pro debian so I wouldn't be surprised if they're willing to align release schedules02:01:02
