is any price action speculated in the next weeks or ant event that can influence edgeware any time soon | 11:07:02

In reply to userand you stay here complaining, at best | 14:50:15
In reply to Le RoiAlways at its best. 😀 | 14:50:54
No, but just look, we have same number of people on telegram groups, no growth at all, so why edg price should go up. We are not interested in illiquid pumps/dumps. | 14:59:04

Edg has a great fundamental and it is almost 100% diluted. Decentralization takes time. What’s so hard about holding and wait? | 15:05:41
I'm pretty sure user was agreeing with you, in fact. | 15:07:02
In reply to Le Roinot saying that it has bad fundamentals, I see some improvements, hopefully erup5 will happen soon, but as always there are room for improvements. | 15:07:30
I'm testing the ERUP-5 runtime with a view to upgrading my nodes, as we speak. | 15:08:49

@JelliedOwl you run nodes on public cloud, right? I'm just wondering how hungry node is in terms of computing resources/power. | 15:13:36
In reply to userI do. And they aren't very demanding. Kabocha more so than Edgeware but still pretty lightweight. (And Kusama / Polkadot - which I don't run because I wouldn't get the nominations for them - are a lot more so, I believe.) | 15:16:08
Maybe we already have docker image for nodes? | 15:16:42
Network bandwidth allowance is probably the biggest risk - I got it wrong when I started out and ended up with a massive bill. | 15:16:52
In reply to userI don't use them, but I believe so. I've only recently started using Docker on another project, so when setting up Edgeware nodes, it wasn't my preference. I'm not sure it is now either. | 15:18:03
At some point we should look in to automated image build process. We could setup cicd pipeline for that, etc. It would be way easier to roll out new nodes with those docker images, test new versions, you name it. | 15:19:17
Potentially yes, if someone wants to do the work setting up CICD, and the chain decides its worth it. I'm a big fan of CICD (I'm developing with it right now), but it's probably not trivial to define for Edgeware. | 15:21:38
Maybe we already have competencies at Edgware Agency. At my work, we use gitlab pipelines, terraform, ansible, openstack, etc. :] | 15:24:18
In reply to Le Roistepping in @ 0,02$ is hard to step in, hold and wait🤣 | 17:53:10
but i am into the potential and fundamentals | 18:06:46 |
