@pastortoni:matrix.orgpastortoni Good Morning! It's Don’t Be Surprised Monday. Read 1 Peter 4:12-13. If you know you are going into a challenging season, you can get prepared for it. You can make sure you are mentally ready. But what about the difficulties that we don’t see coming? The unexpected crisis that catches you off guard? Sometimes it can seem so overwhelming and devastating when your life is suddenly turned upside down. The Scripture says that we shouldn’t be surprised by fiery trials. That’s because the forces of darkness would not be fighting against you if they didn’t know that God has something amazing in your future! Sometimes those unexpected difficulties are just a sign that you’re on the right track. It’s always darkest just before the dawn appears. The enemy always fights the hardest when you are closest to your breakthrough. The key is to stay the course and keep fighting the good fight of faith. In the difficult times, keep your joy and keep declaring God’s Word over your future. God has promised that you will overcome every obstacle. You will defeat every enemy, and you will embrace the blessing and victory He has in store for you!?
PRAYER FOR TODAY:
“Father, thank You for walking with me in every season of life. Today, I cast all of my cares on You. I cast all of my difficulties, all of my questions, and all of my concerns. Thank You for working all things out for my good in Jesus’ name. Amen.”

Good Morning! It's Nothing Can Hold You Back Tuesday. Read Psalm 92:12. Have you ever seen a palm tree in the midst of a great storm? Unlike most other trees, the palm tree is able to bend so it will not break. A certain kind of palm can bend over until the top is almost touching the ground, but when the wind finally stops, it bounces right back up. What’s interesting is that while that palm tree is bent over under the pressure of the damaging winds, it’s being pushed and stretched, strengthening the root system and giving it new opportunities for growth. The reason God said we’d flourish like a palm tree is because He knew there would be difficult times. He knew things would come against us to try to steal our joy and victory. God said, “You’re going to be like a palm tree because after the storms of life blow, you’re going to be stronger, healthier, wiser, better off, and ready for new growth.” God never brings you out the same. He makes the enemy pay for bringing the times of darkness and trouble. What’s meant for your harm He’s going to use to your advantage. It’s not going to break you; it’s going to strengthen you. You’re not only going to still be standing; you’re going to be standing stronger.

PRAYER FOR TODAY:
Father in heaven, thank You for making me strong in You. I trust that You are working in my life, even in the midst of the storms. I know You will bring me out stronger, wiser and better off than ever before in Jesus’ name. Amen.

@pastortoni:matrix.orgpastortoni Good Morning! It's He Gives Us Victory Wednesday. Read I Corinthians 15:57. God wants to pour out His favor on you so that you can live in victory in every area of your life. The Scripture says He always causes us to triumph through Christ Jesus. That means no matter what you may be facing today, God wants to make you more than a conqueror. Are you battling sickness? God wants to give you healing. Are you struggling with a broken relationship? God wants to give you restoration and peace. Are you facing a need—physically, spiritually or emotionally? God’s favor will bring you provision and supply all your needs according to His riches in glory. Many times in the Bible when God’s people were going into battle, the worshipers were sent out in front of the warriors. When you choose to worship, when you are thankful and bless the Lord in the midst of your battle, you are opening the door to His favor in your life. It’s important to magnify your God; don’t magnify your problems! When you give God praise, He gives you the victory!
PRAYER FOR TODAY:
“Father, today I give You thanks for Your mercy and faithfulness in my life. Thank You for leading me into victory! I will magnify You and bless Your holy name, in Jesus’ name. Amen.”

Good Morning! It's Prayer Changes Everything Thursday. Read Hebrews 4:16. Only God can move a mountain, but prayer and faith moves God! It’s our communication with our heavenly Father that sustains us on this difficult journey of life, and thankfully, we don’t have to travel this road alone. God has given us a direct line to His throne room—day or night. He hears us when we pray and responds to the cries of His children. Pray believing! Pray sincerely! Pray with complete devotion to our Lord and Savior! We cannot expect God to answer our prayers when our allegiance is divided. In other words, we can’t have each leg in two different canoes. And when we pray, we need to pray knowing with absolute certainty that our God hears and answers! Many times we pray and ask God to take away our troubles, but we pray hoping, not believing. Life would be so much simpler if we accepted the fact that we can’t solve our own problems. Only God can see the big picture, so He alone knows the solution. There’s no problem too big for God to solve, and there’s no tear that prayer cannot wipe away! There is no sadness that God cannot erase! Prayer brings God to the rescue—so instead of waiting until the problem becomes so large that we are swallowed up in the pit of depression, go to God first. Prayer changes everything! Texts: Psalm 50:15, Jeremiah 29:12, Psalm 145:18, Hebrews 4:16.

A Prayer For Today:
Thank you Jesus for another day! Thank you for giving me new grace and new mercy everyday. Thank you for always being by my side. Thank you God that you always hear my prayers and for answering them even when I don't acknowledge you for them. Amen

@pastortoni:matrix.orgpastortoniGood Morning! It's Embracing Change Monday. Read Joshua 1:9. Sometimes changes in our lives can be scary and, well . . . downright terrifying. When we move out of our familiar home, change jobs, have a baby, get married, or make any other major lifestyle change, it can be one of the most insecure times we ever face in our lives. It’s the dark unknown that is unsettling. Sadly, we can get so comfortable that, even in a bad situation, we are willing to stay and put up with it rather than face the fear of change. Perhaps we are afraid that the change might not turn out to be as good as we hoped it would, or maybe we’ll be even more miserable than we currently are. As long as we have prayed for divine direction, then we have nothing to be afraid of. When we have the blessed assurance that God is with us, we can go forward with holy boldness and joy in our hearts, with absolute confidence that He is guiding each step of the way! We need to pray without ceasing and listen for God to impress upon us the changes He wants us to make! When we are Holy Spirit led, we can embrace change with excited anticipation, knowing that our heavenly Father has something awesome planned!  Texts: Psalm 25:5, Hebrews 10:36, 2 Corinthians 4:16-18, Joshua 1:9. Amen14:43:46

@pastortoni:matrix.orgpastortoniGood Morning! It's Christian Character Tuesday. Read 2 Corinthians 5:17. Our reputations are what people think we are, but our characters define the very essence of who we are! Character is revealed by the way we act and how we respond to life situations. Our reputations are how people perceive us based upon what they see or hear us do. To perform a good deed now and then is not what defines us as Christians, but rather it’s the Christlike way we act every day, not only in the good times, but in stressful situations as well. If we really want to be like Jesus, we need to ask God to cleanse us from sin and then trust Him to guide us each step of the way. It’s all about surrendering our wills . . . to God’s will. If we are faithful about our surrender, then God will work in us and through us. The Bible says in Philippians 2:13 (NKJV),  “For it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.” God has given us the gift of choice and we have the power to control our actions. When Christ’s character is reproduced in His people, then He will come to claim us as His own, and what a glorious day that will be! Let us each pray for a deeper desire to have Christ’s character within us. Amen.Texts: 2 Corinthians 5:17, Romans 12:2, Colossians 3:12-15, Romans 5:3-5.13:54:47
