God has promised to meet all of our needs, although sometimes people confuse this statement with all of our wants. But that’s not what God promises at all. Yes, God does say that He loves to give His children good gifts, and He also says that He loves to give us the desires of our hearts, but only when those desires and gifts are good for us! He knows exactly what we need and many times the things that we think we want, we wouldn’t feel the same—if we knew the future. That’s why it’s important to always pray, “Thy will be done.” We can never go wrong when we are asking God to make the decisions! When we trust in Him completely, we can be certain that no matter what our need, God will provide! Sometimes we forget what an all-powerful and loving God we serve. The Bible tells us in 2 Corinthians 9:8 (NIV), “And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.” Thanks to Jesus, we will always have sufficient strength and grace to face each day! Amen! Good Morning! It's He Increases Your Strength Wednesday. Read Isaiah 40:29.
In the Scripture, Joseph went through seasons of difficulty. He was rejected by his family, sold into slavery, lied about, mistreated, abandoned, falsely accused of a crime and thrown in prison. But through it all, Joseph never gave up. He kept pressing through and doing the right thing even though the wrong thing kept happening. Psalm 105:18 tells us that as Joseph lay in prison in those chains of iron, his soul entered into that iron. In that prison, Joseph developed supernatural strength, a perseverance that no one could take away. There are some lessons you can only learn in the dark places. If you are going through difficulty today, God wants to increase your strength. He wants to increase your power to overcome. He wants to make your inner man as strong as steel. When you keep standing, keep believing and keep doing the right thing, you are opening yourself to God’s supernatural strength. That’s when you know you are growing in Him. Be strong today. Keep pressing forward because God is at work increasing strength in you so that you can live in victory in every area of your life!

PRAYER FOR TODAY:
Father in heaven, today I surrender every difficulty to You. I release the questions, hurts and frustrations. I choose to trust You and do the right thing. Increase Your strength in me so that I can live in the victory You have in store for me in Jesus’ name, Thy Will Be Done, Amen!

Good Morning! It's Growing Through Difficulty Thursday. Read 1 Peter 1:7. One thing we have to realize is that God is not going to deliver us from every difficulty. He is not going to keep us from every challenge. If He did, we would never grow. The Scripture says, “Our faith is tried in the fire of affliction.” When you’re in a tough time, that’s an opportunity for your faith to shine. Anybody can get negative and bitter, blame God, or lose their passion. That’s easy. But if you want to pass the test, if you want God to take you to a new level, you cannot be a weakling. You have to be a warrior. Dig your heels in and say as the apostle Paul, “I can handle it. I’m ready for it. I’m equal to it. I know God is still on the throne. He is fighting my battles, and on the other side of this difficulty is a new level of my destiny!”

PRAYER FOR TODAY:
Father, thank You for refining me and growing my faith. I choose to stand strong in the midst of difficulty. I choose to bless You no matter what my circumstances are. I trust that You are leading and guiding me in paths of righteousness for Your name’s sake in Jesus’ name, Thy Will Be Done. Amen.

We all have weaknesses and emotions that are put to the test over and over again. Every time we go through hard times—and God intervenes, our faith increases significantly! If we really want to overcome the habits of fretting, worry, and fear . . . there must be a blind trust in God that’s so strong, we know beyond a shadow of a doubt that He will do what’s best! It starts with a firm commitment of faith in our hearts, and it is then, that worry is replaced with the sweet peace of resting in our Savior’s arms! We must resist the temptation to give up while in the midst of tribulation because it is through our trials that our characters are being prepared for heaven. Instead of stressing out, trust God who has everything under control. Don’t pace the floor with worry, kneel on the floor and pray! The Bible says in Philippians 4:11-12 (NIV), “I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation.” In our darkest hour, we learn patience, endurance, and real faith in God, so don’t give up because soon we will develop the habits of being joyful and confident, and trusting in God! Good Morning! It's Friends With God Monday. Read John 15:12-17. Maintaining a friendship with God is key to having a vibrant and meaningful prayer life! It’s human nature to treat friends differently than we do casual acquaintances. For instance, when a favor is needed, we usually don’t ask a stranger because it would feel awkward and presumptuous. It is much more comfortable to go to a close friend whom we know cares about us and would be sincerely eager and willing to help. We speak differently and guard what we say to someone we don’t know. But when talking with a friend, it’s more intimate, and we feel at ease saying what we really think! With friends, we can be shamelessly persistent when asking for a favor or expressing our desires. So it is with our friendship with God.

When we are close friends and know God personally, there’s a comfort level that supersedes any other feeling in the world! We experience that incredible inner peace knowing that we have a friend in Jesus and there’s nothing that He wouldn’t do for us! 

We can feel free to be ourselves and boldly tell God whatever is on our hearts. He longs to be friends with each of us all we have to do is invite Him into our hearts and lives! Decide today to be friends with God! Amen Texts: John 15:12-17, John 15:5, Proverbs 18:24, Psalm 91:1-2.

Good Morning! It's Only One Life Tuesday. Read John 14:27.
Living in this fast-paced world, more and more people are struggling with anxiety and depression. The stress level is off the charts and rest and relaxation is something that few people experience anymore. The financial strain just trying to pay the bills leaves people exhausted and discouraged. In fact, many describe their lives as similar to a hamster that is in a cage running around and around inside a wheel, turning endlessly, yet going nowhere.

Joy and contentment seem out of reach, if not impossible. But here’s the good news: Jesus is the answer! He wants to give you peace and joy, and without a doubt, He’s better than any anti-anxiety drug out there!
Allow God to be in charge of your calendar, your time, and every aspect of your life! You only have one life to live, so live it to the fullest with God in charge. Then and only then will you find real happiness, peace, and contentment! Amen

Read Romans 4:20. In the Scripture, Abraham’s circumstances were beyond his control. God promised him that he would have a son, but both he and Sarah were way too old to have a child. What did he do while he was waiting? “He grew strong in faith by giving praise to God.” He got up every morning and said, “Lord, thank You for Your faithfulness. Thank You that my baby is on its way. Thank You that You are faithful to Your Word.” He kept thanking God for what he heard in his spirit, and eventually, the promise came to pass. As with Abraham, God has put dreams in your heart. He has spoken promises over you. Deep down you believe it will happen, but in the natural, it looks impossible. The odds are against you. It’s been so long. No, God is saying, “What I started in your life I will finish.” The key is to follow Abraham’s example and praise God while you wait. That’s one way to grow in faith. Keep praying. Keep believing. Keep expecting. Grow strong in faith and see His promises fulfilled in every area of your life. Father, thank You for refining me and growing my faith. I choose to stand strong in the midst of difficulty. I choose to bless You no matter what my circumstances are. I trust that You are leading and guiding me in paths of righteousness for Your name’s sake in Jesus’ name, Thy Will Be Done. Amen.

pastortoni this message couldn't be more timely. Impatience is such a familiar action for us as humans. Not many people make a habit of thanking God for upcoming blessingsI have never known God to be unfaithful to those who believe in Him.

Good Morning! It's Totally Committed Monday. Read
Ephesians 2:4-5 NKJV - But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved). Our God is 100%, totally committed in His love for us. When He gave His only Son to come to this earth and die so that we might live - He didn’t just die for “some” of His children, or a few of His favorites. He loves us unconditionally and with His whole heart! He doesn’t do anything halfway! He doesn’t listen to just a few of our prayers, whenever He feels like it, or protect us only half the time!

Jesus didn’t come to this earth, look around and say, “nope - I changed my mind, I’m going home.” Had He done that, all of us would be eternally lost - with absolutely no hope for a future! God loves us with an everlasting, unending and amazing love - that is far beyond our comprehension.  He doesn’t just love us “part time,” when we are doing everything He wants us to do. No, He loves us, even when we mess up, do the wrong thing, and get into trouble - for God hates the sin, but loves the sinner!

The Bible says in Hosea 14:4, “I will heal their backsliding, I will love them freely.” You see, He loves us “no matter what!” Just as God loves us, He wants us to return His love, and give our hearts completely to Him! He doesn’t want us to love Him with half our heart, choosing to sin part of the time, and serving God whenever we “feel” like it!

Choose today to give God your whole heart and be 100% totally committed to Him! Amen Text: Ephesians 2:4-5, Romans 12:1, Ephesians 5:1-2, 1 John 4:12.

Good Morning! It's Two Choices And Only Two Tuesday. Read Isaiah 26:3-4 NKJV - You will keep him in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on You, Because he trusts in You. Trust in the LORD forever, For in YAH, the LORD, is everlasting strength. If you are walking around with a heavy heart, chances are you are hanging on to a lot of heavy emotional baggage. And as long as you keep lugging it around, it will destroy you. Perhaps it’s something you haven’t forgiven yourself for, hard feelings in your family, a business deal that went wrong, the death of a loved one, or someone who has done you wrong, but whatever it is - LET IT GO and give it to JESUS!

No human is strong enough to bear this load - for only JESUS can take this burden from you. Go to Him “first,” - instead of dragging your burdens around until you fall from the weight of your heartache. Oh how much better it is to trust JESUS - instead of trying to manage alone. It all comes down to this: you have but two choices and only two!

  1. Trust in God 2. Don’t trust in God. It’s that simple! You must decide, for there is no state of neutrality. You are either “for Christ” or against Him. The Bible says in Matthew 12:20, “Whoever is not with me is against me.” Choose JESUS today and give all your emotional baggage to Him.

God will always be there for you - in the good times and in the bad! Choosing JESUS as your personal Savior is a lifelong choice and it is your “ONLY CHOICE” for everlasting happiness - not only on this earth, but for all eternity!. Amen!

Good Morning! It's Trust God’s Word Wednesday. Read Psalm 37:4-6 NKJV, "Delight yourself also in the LORD, And He shall give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the LORD, Trust also in Him, And He shall bring it to pass. He shall bring forth your righteousness as the light, And your justice as the noonday." When you’re struggling with a decision, there’s no need to get all stressed out, not knowing which way to turn.

Instead of sleepless nights, go to God in prayer. With Holy Spirit guidance, He will give you the answers you seek. Many people take prayer for granted, not fully realizing what a privilege it is to have direct access to our Creator God! Not only can you commune with Him through prayer, but He gave His Holy Word for divine guidance. Your Bible becomes more precious once you realize that God speaks to you through the Holy Spirit as you prayerfully read His words. When spending time with God, both in prayer and in His Word, you’ll develop a close, personal relationship with Him.

The more time you spend in prayer, praise, and worship, the closer you’ll become. God gave His Holy Scriptures to help guide and direct, for the Bible is not merely a book like any other book, it’s God’s Holy Word! And there is power in His Word! Before opening the Bible, pray and ask God for divine wisdom, understanding, and guidance.

You’ll be amazed at the peace that will come even before you’ve experienced His answer! You can always trust God’s Word! Amen. Texts: 2 Timothy 3:16, Psalm 9:10, Isaiah 26:3, Psalm 37:4-6.

Read 1 Peter 5:6-7 NKJV - "Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you." Everyone needs love, especially when feeling sad, lonely or depressed. There’s something quite comforting about being held in a warm embrace by someone you love and trust. Suddenly life doesn’t seem so bad and you don’t feel so helpless. So it is with God, for when you allow yourself to be wrapped in His arms of love, He will soothe your soul and give you a peace such as you have never known! God understands you more than anyone else and He knows the very moment you feel too weak to even crawl and tenderly He will pick you up and carry you. He will calm your fears, dry your eyes and give you strength to go on. Truly, there is no better place to be than in the arms of Jesus! Reach out to Him today and dwell in His presence, and as you feel His arms of love, be assured that you have nothing to fear - God will take care of your every need! The more you get to know God as your personal Friend and Savior, the more you will trust yourself to His all-powerful, comforting, arms of love.
