@wandaj:matrix.org@wandaj:matrix.orgThere is a lot going on right now. As I was meditating on Proverbs 28 today, these versus said it all (will be simplified according to David Jeremiah from "A Focused Life": Proverbs 28:1-2, 5 say: The wicked run away when no one is chasing them, but the godly are as bold as lions. When there is mortal rot within a nation, its government topples easily. But the wise and knowledgeable leaders bring stability. Evil people don't understand justice, but those who follow the Lord understand completely.01:50:42

@pastortoni:matrix.orgpastortoni Good Morning! It's Relinquishing Power Friday. Read Isaiah 41:13 NKJV - For I the LORD your God, will hold your right hand, Saying to you "Fear not I will help you".Trust Jesus with everything your wants, desires, possessions, finances, job, and yes even your loved ones. To do that though, you need to give up control. Everyone struggles with relinquishing power, and many lose the battle altogether. There’s only one way to win this war and that is to consciously make the decision to let go and allow God to take over! As you trust God more and more, the fear will melt away and your confidence in Him will grow. With Jesus by your side, you can feel safe and secure in any situation. Whether you are in the midst of making an important decision, facing a health crisis, waiting for a test result, or struggling through your worst trial . . . Jesus will never leave you or forsake you! He is the same yesterday, today, and forever! Don’t keep worrying about how you will survive, which way to go, or what to do. Instead, release your troubles to God, and you’ll sleep like a baby, free from all worry and care, for Jesus is your security blanket, which no one can take from you! Amen! Texts: Isaiah 41:13, Psalm 115:3, 1 Chronicles 29:11, John 15:5 . 12:15:43

@pastortoni:matrix.orgpastortoni Good Morning! It's The Panic Button Tuesday. Read John 14:27 NKJV - "Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." When everything seems to be going wrong, and you’re in the midst of the worst possible storm in your life, don’t spend even one minute being anxious or worried. As a Christian, you have no reason to fear for you serve a great big God who is powerful and has promised to never leave you or forsake you. And the good news—no matter what, God always keeps His promises! Pray for strength to overcome any burden or heartache. God will command His angels to watch over you and protect you from danger. Do not fear or spend sleepless nights tossing and turning, worrying about what will happen the next day. Trust your problems to God for He is able and trustworthy! The Bible is full of stories where God performed miracles to save His children, and He is the same God of miracles yesterday, today, and tomorrow! There’s no circumstance too small or too big for Him to handle and no prayer will remain unheard or unanswered! Before pushing the panic button, hold on to God’s promises, place your trust and faith in Him, and through His precious blood, you will overcome every trial, struggle, and fear!  Amen!  Texts: Psalm 78:35, 1 Peter 5:7, John 14:27, Psalm 94:19. 14:35:58

@pastortoni:matrix.orgpastortoni Good Morning! It's Arms of Love Wednesday. Read 1 Peter 5:6-7 NKJV - "Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you." Everyone needs love, especially when feeling sad, lonely or depressed. There’s something quite comforting about being held in a warm embrace by someone you love and trust. Suddenly life doesn’t seem so bad and you don’t feel so helpless. So it is with God, for when you allow yourself to be wrapped in His arms of love, He will soothe your soul and give you a peace such as you have never known! God understands you more than anyone else and He knows the very moment you feel too weak to even crawl and tenderly He will pick you up and carry you. He will calm your fears, dry your eyes and give you strength to go on. Truly, there is no better place to be than in the arms of Jesus! Reach out to Him today and dwell in His presence, and as you feel His arms of love, be assured that you have nothing to fear, God will take care of your every need! The more you get to know God as your personal Friend and Savior, the more you will trust yourself to His all-powerful, comforting, arms of love. Text: Zephaniah 3:17, Psalm 86:15, Proverbs 8:17, 1 Peter 5:6-7.
A Prayer For Today
Thank you Jesus that no matter where our hearts are you are always reaching out to love us unconditionally! You are the ultimate example of love and we are so grateful for that! In Jesus’ Holy name we pray, Amen.

@pastortoni:matrix.orgpastortoni Good Morning! It's Jesus, Our Sin-Bearer Thursdsy. Read Isaiah 55:6-7. "Seek the Lord while he may be found; call on him while he is near. Let the wicked forsake their ways and the unrighteous their thoughts. Let them turn to the Lord, and he will have mercy on them, and to our God, for he will freely pardon." Everyone needs the saving grace that God offers, however, it can only be obtained in answer to prayer. It doesn’t matter what sin we are drowning in, sin is sin, and Jesus is our Sin-Bearer! He is our Savior and the only one who can save us! He provides His sweet saving grace to all that repent and ask for His forgiveness. God does not just look down on the world, then sprinkle grace from above, letting it land wherever it falls! No! God’s grace and mercy is prayed for. Sometimes it’s in answer to intercessory prayers offered by others, when we are too weak to pray for ourselves. Other times, it is in direct answer to our heartfelt prayer of “Jesus, save me!” Prayer is not only a privilege, it is our duty. God wants to hear from His children. No one is turned away from the throne room of God. There are no guards holding us back, no waiting, and no long lines before our Lord and Savior! God has given each of us direct access, anytime, day or night! All we need to do is pray! The privilege of prayer is always ours, but the power of prayer is always God’s! Amen. Texts: Isaiah 55:6-7, Ephesians 2:4-5, Titus 2:11-12, Isaiah 30:18. 13:59:15

@pastortoni:matrix.orgpastortoni Good Morning! It's Liberty To The Captives Friday. Read Luke 4:18, NKJV. “The Spirit of the LORD is upon Me…to proclaim liberty to the captives and…to set at liberty those who are oppressed.” If we’re not careful to develop a freedom mindset, having a bondage mindset will become normal to us. We’ll accept that it’s normal to be hot-tempered, it’s normal to live depressed and negative, it’s normal to struggle and not get any good breaks, it’s normal to have bad relationships. That’s not normal. That’s a chain that restricts your movement, that limits your ability. You are made in the image of Almighty God. You have seeds of greatness. You were created to be free, to be happy, to accomplish dreams—not to get by in life, but to excel. Don’t let a chain that binds you become normal. Jesus came announcing freedom, announcing that the chains that are restricting you are being broken. Now it’s up to you to receive it. The chain breaker, the Most High God is working in your life right now. Your day of freedom has come. Get ready for favor in new ways. Start living from a freedom mindset.
PRAYER FOR TODAY:
“Father, thank You that You are the Most High God, the chain breaker, who is releasing me into increase, into favor, and into new levels. Thank You that what has hindered me in the past is not going to hinder me anymore. I believe my chains have been broken. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Lord we lift up your plan for wealth transfer to your peple. We say according to Ps. 35:

Plead our cause O Lord with those who strive with us
Fight against those who fight against us.
Take hold of shield and buckler,
Stand up for our help.
Also draw out the spear,
And stop those who pursue us,
Say to our soul,
I am your Salvation.

Let those be put to shame and brought to dishonor
Who seek our lives

Let them be turned back and brought to confusion
Who plot our hurt
Let them be like chaff before the wind
And let the angel of the Lord chase them
Let their way be dark and slippery
And let the angel of the Lord pursue them

For without cause they have hidden their net for us in a pit,
Which they have dug without cause for our lives

Let distruction come upon them unexpectedly,
And let the net they have hidden for us catch them;
Into that very distruction let them fall.

And let our soul be joyful in the Lord;
We shall rejoice in his salvation.
And our bones shall say,
Lord who is like you
Delivering the poor from him who is too strong for them,
Yes the poor and needy from him who plunders them?
Amen Lord!

@pastortoni:matrix.orgpastortoni Good Morning! It's Growing Through Difficulty Tuesday. Read 1 Peter 1:7, NLT. "These trials will show that your faith is genuine. It is being tested as fire tests and purifies gold… " One thing we have to realize is that God is not going to deliver us from every difficulty. He is not going to keep us from every challenge. If He did, we would never grow. The Scripture says, “Our faith is tried in the fire of affliction.” When you’re in a tough time, that’s an opportunity for your faith to shine. Anybody can get negative and bitter, blame God, or lose their passion. That’s easy. But if you want to pass the test, if you want God to take you to a new level, you cannot be a weakling. You have to be a warrior. Dig your heels in and say as the apostle Paul, “I can handle it. I’m ready for it. I’m equal to it. I know God is still on the throne. He is fighting my battles, and on the other side of this difficulty is a new level of my destiny!”
PRAYER FOR TODAY:
Father, thank You for refining me and growing my faith. I choose to stand strong in the midst of difficulty. I choose to bless You no matter what my circumstances are. I trust that You are leading and guiding me in paths of righteousness for Your name’s sake in Jesus’ name. Amen.

@pastortoni:matrix.orgpastortoni Good Morning! It's No Need To Worry Wednesday. Read Romans 8:28, NKJV. "And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose." Have you ever wondered why Christians worry just like unbelievers do? There is so much heartache in this world and so many things that “could go wrong” that it’s human nature to worry and fret about things that are not under your control. Sometimes you may feel like it’s your job to worry or that worrying shows your love, even if you are powerless to help. But there IS someone who “can” help, and He is just a prayer away! When loved ones face an uncertain future, the rent is due, you lost your job, the doctor gave a grim diagnosis, and a million other things people worry about, it’s important to remember that your Best Friend Jesus has the cure for “worry weight.” Allow Him to be your personal trainer and you’ll lose every pound of worry, for it will just melt away! No need to pace the floors or bite your nails, God’s got you covered! Psalm 55:22 says, “Give your burdens to the Lord, and He will take care of you. He will not permit the godly to slip and fall.” And that’s a promise you can claim for your own. The next time you find yourself putting on worry weight - reach out to Jesus and allow Him to relieve you of your burdens. Turn worry, into prayers! It’s not only 100% effective - but it is faith-building too! When you lean on Jesus, there is no need for worry - because you can be 100% sure that God always has your back! Amen! Text: 1 Peter 5:7, Philippians 4:5-7, Romans 8:28, Luke 12:22-31. 16:02:19

@pastortoni:matrix.orgpastortoni Good Morning! It's Stay Faithful, Stay Focused Thursday. Read Isaiah 42:16 NKJV - "I will bring the blind by a way they did not know; I will lead them in paths they have not known. I will make darkness light before them, And crooked places straight. These things I will do for them, And not forsake them." God never promised that if you would follow Him, your life will be perfect. He never promised the sun would always shine or that you would never experience pain. The truth is, this journey here on earth is difficult and challenging. There are so many twists and turns to life and through it all it is critically important to stay focused on Jesus. The devil would like nothing better than to separate you from the only One who can save you, and he will stop at nothing to get your attention. He loves to plant seeds of doubt, especially when you are going through a crisis and are the most vulnerable. Satan loves to whisper his lies, encouraging you to blame God for your troubles. But Satan is the creator of sin and he gets all the credit for pain and heartache–not God! Stay focused on your heavenly Father who loves you more than anyone else ever could! When you are in trouble, call upon Him for help. The Bible says in Psalm 34:17-19, “When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears and delivers them out of all their troubles. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all.” You don’t have to be afraid of life’s challenges, heartache, and pain because you are never alone! Stay faithful, stay focused on the only one who can save you from all your trials, misery, and suffering–Jesus Christ, your Lord and Savior. Amen. @pastortoni:matrix.orgpastortoni Good Morning! It's Shielded By The Light of His Presence Friday. Read Psalm 5:11 NKJV - "But let all those rejoice who put their trust in You; Let them ever shout for joy, because You defend them; Let those also who love Your name Be joyful in You." It’s easy to be frightened when we watch the news, highlighting all the wicked events happening in our world. It’s filled with stories of murders, kidnapping, robbery, floods, fires, and the list goes on and on. The criteria for making it on the news seems to be: “If it bleeds–it leads!” It’s no wonder why so many people live in fear; carrying guns, and dead bolting their houses at night. But God has promised to protect us. In Psalm 97:10 we’re told, “You who love the Lord, hate evil! He preserves the souls of His saints; He delivers them out of the hand of the wicked.” We need not worry when our lives are surrendered to God. We can thank God for His love and goodness and His promise to hide and protect us from trouble. (Psalm 121:7-8) God is our safe place to run to! He is ever looking out for us. Just think what it will be like when we get to heaven and learn about all the times our guardian angels stepped in to save us! We are in serious danger and do have reason to fear if we are trying to “go it alone!” It is a dark and dangerous world out there but when we stay close to Jesus, we are shielded by the light of His presence–and there’s no better place to be! Amen. Text: Psalm 34:7, Psalm 5:11, John 10:10. 13:18:26
