My first impression of Rico is that it is genius, and is the closest I've seen to Bernard Lietaer's vision of an international currency backed by commodities, while outpacing his general outline in details and innovative design. It also has some very interesting properties that remind me of some good ideas formulated in the alternative currency space before crypto. The balance of credit to debt seems absolutely essential for long term stability and is a refreshing sign of wisdom. The ability to accurately describe nuances afforded by the new terms is wonderful, especially being able to describe the scenario in which way < 1 and fee > 1, which I think is the most needed cognitive lense on value in the world today.
