John | How is the project (and the project owner)? I heard the owner got covid? | 16:09:37 |
ahq | Sorry, I haven't been very active here. The current Hummingbard codebase is no longer being worked on.
I'm building something new called Acidtalk, a full-on Matrix client with forums/social features. The project has some funding behind it, so I'm able to work on it fulltime. Will share more when appropriate. | 16:25:24 |

Jassuko | ahq: There are multiple projects that I'm aware of that build or are planning stuff using Matrix as a backend. Do you think it could be beneficial to try to define some best practices on how to best do some specific things? My worry is that Matrix spec is still driven quite much by the chat related use-cases and single project with specific needs might not have very much voice on how things develop. But if there are similar usage patterns or spec needs that serve multiple different projects, then the spec development might be easier to support those patterns as well. | 09:12:47 |
Jassuko | ahq: Also, great to hear you're doing better! | 09:13:31 |

Alexey Murz Korepov | ahq: About multiple attachments to message - here https://github.com/matrix-org/matrix-doc/pull/3051 is a new MSC that suggest convert m.relations to array to allow multiple relations, and it is already used to implement this https://github.com/matrix-org/matrix-doc/pull/2881#issuecomment-906344522 - so in new implementation I guess you can refer to it. | 11:52:09 |

Most of those I know of are more-or-less commercial projects at this stage, so nothing public yet. Though this is open sourced one that I know of through the guy who developed it partly based on chat discussions we had had: https://github.com/sendanor/pipeline-runner | 13:37:24 |
