Recrawled new users, made it a bit better looking when verifying, SSR’ed our setup so it doesn’t require a node server to run, which means it doesn’t take forever to load anymore, and can be even hosted in IPFS now ☺️ - feel free to poke at https://aragon-verifications.now.sh/.

Also, probably @jorge is happy that now his signature is valid as I’m iterating over all his keys instead of just the first one that didn’t match his signature. Now, even if you verified through the client, it should work.

Next steps: Detecting multiple usernames from body / forum, ignoring non-PGP-armored messages, match usernames with addresses from registry in Github.

07:43:24@dietrich:matrix.orgdietrichHi everyone! My name is Dietrich Ayala, and I'm joining y'all at AraCon this week! I'm interested in developer experience for distributed/decentralized web and applications. I met Luis after he reached out to have Aragon be part of the Mozilla Hacks series on dweb projects. Looking forward to meeting some of you this week 🤩

Hello world :) I’m exploring market based on-chain voting mechanisms, web2/web3 data bridges/oracles, and community incentivization/engagement models in order to build a decentralized version of the erc-20 donuts that briefly debuted on /r/ethtrader. I also like building stuff in Rust, which pretty much means a Substrate prototype, and I just heard that Aragon might be exploring transitioning to Polkadot/Substrate as well… so I’m here to learn more about Aragon on Substrate and what that might look like for building and hacking on things :)

For reference, here’s an FAQ on tradeable erc-20 donuts from /r/ethtrader:

For reference, here’s an FAQ on tradeable erc-20 donuts from /r/ethtrader, but TL;DR: they’re a link between Reddit karma and a tradable erc-20 token that allows you to buy voting power and stuff like banner ads on the subreddit.

Hi @burrrata welcome! Thanks for sharing 😁

@cslarson what you mention I believe is the future of communities on the web, as DAOs:

  1. On-ramp people from centralized networks to earn tokens and not know it
  2. Expose interesting use cases such as decentralized governance/rewards that require claiming those tokens
  3. (eventually/optional) Migrate users from centralized web to decentralized web for more user control over data, privacy, etc.
—> These are the type of features that I think makes sense for Autark to tackle as they are aligned with some of our roadmap (reputation orgs/mapping socials). Feel free to check out Autark’s plans here, and I also suggest sharing your use case on forum.aragon.org for continued discussion and brainstorms (as intros is probably not the best place to discuss, and a more async/focused discussion would be preferred). https://medium.com/@stellarmagnet/autark-flock-proposal-cf19464f3129

thanks @yalda. Yes, it looks like there is some overlap in terms of leveraging reputation and identity. And thank you for pointing me towards the forum.
