Oliverb | with curl it works | 19:29:15 |
Oliverb | but this loggin problem i had with all the server i installed last few days. i give up. i burning so many hours in this projekt already. i was hoppin some one knows the problem.. | 19:31:17 |
Aaron | No it doesn't. You probably have manually trusted that certificate on your computer or something but it isn't a real valid certificate.
⟩ curl -L https://matrix.bin-bash.ch/_matrix/client/versions
curl: (60) SSL: no alternative certificate subject name matches target host name 'matrix.bin-bash.ch'
More details here: https://curl.haxx.se/docs/sslcerts.html
curl failed to verify the legitimacy of the server and therefore could not
establish a secure connection to it. To learn more about this situation and
how to fix it, please visit the web page mentioned above.```
| 19:31:59 |
Oliverb | no i dont. i make a cert for bin-bash.ch not for matrix.bin-bash.ch | 19:33:32 |
Aaron | Well you showed that your .well-known file is pointing at matrix.bin-bash.ch so either that well-known file is wrong or you need to get a certificate for matrix.bin-bash.ch
The well-known file also doesn't work for me, ftr
⟩ curl -L https://bin-bash.ch/.well-known/matrix/server

Aaron | I'm not sure | 19:46:16 |
Oliverb | i kill the cache on my browser | 19:46:36 |
Oliverb | where i have to place the server file? | 19:48:29 |
Oliverb | not on /var/www/.well.... | 19:48:58 |
Aaron | Well with the nginx config you posted above you shouldn't need to place it on disk anywhere | 19:49:22 |
Aaron | nginx should be returning the right info | 19:49:31 |
Oliverb | thats what i think when i saw it | 19:51:10 |
Oliverb | ok no idea any more from your side? | 19:53:10 |
Aaron | Can't think of anything other than it being setup somehow to only work on your local network. Try connecting using another network like from your phone's internet or something. | 19:56:07 |
Oliverb | bit dificult to connect my server on my cell | 19:58:24 |
Oliverb | its a Proxmox server ther are running so other things | 19:58:51 |
