@natrius:matrix.orgnatriusDo i still have to remove all aliases for the room before upgrading the room-version?10:45:45

natrius: following that guide on Debian, I noticed letsencrypt is a transitional package in buster/stable and a virtual package in testing & unstable. And it doesn't install python3-certbot-nginx, as suggested later with sudo certbot --nginx.
also ping. the PPA may not be necessary?

I think Riot moves over aliases you have control over.

Hi. Is there a way to disable TLS/SSL so that the server still can federate with another server in private network?
with Synapse 0.99.4, yes.
00:01:46
@lindalap:matrix.orgLindanot so much disabling, but accepts self-signed certificates with TLS00:02:20
@tie.loktiing:matrix.orgtie.loktiingok, the problem is self-signed certs server can't federate with other server. 05:42:20
@mathijs:matrix.vgorcum.comMathijs tie.loktiing: you should probably ask in #synapse:matrix.org 11:14:17
