natrius | Do i still have to remove all aliases for the room before upgrading the room-version? | 10:45:45 |
Linda | In reply to @lindalap:matrix.org natrius: following that guide on Debian, I noticed letsencrypt is a transitional package in buster/stable and a virtual package in testing & unstable . And it doesn't install python3-certbot-nginx , as suggested later with sudo certbot --nginx . also ping. the PPA may not be necessary? | 10:46:23 |

Linda | In reply to @tie.loktiing:matrix.org Hi. Is there a way to disable TLS/SSL so that the server still can federate with another server in private network? with Synapse 0.99.4, yes. | 00:01:46 |
Linda | not so much disabling, but accepts self-signed certificates with TLS | 00:02:20 |
tie.loktiing | ok, the problem is self-signed certs server can't federate with other server. | 05:42:20 |
Mathijs | tie.loktiing: you should probably ask in #synapse:matrix.org | 11:14:17 |
