I just want to anticipate, and be ready If this would happen to our instance, as long as there is no direct instance blocking support in Mobilizon we would just add a firewall rule to forbid access from the spamming instances IP address (or even the whole network). That way you reduce the load of the Mobilizon instance itself. Blocking IP addresses or network ranges is much more efficient in a dedicated firewall in front of the instance itself, which is always a good idea. | 10:30:52 |

What triggered me to look for this feature is a #fediblock post getting on my mastodon timeline, suggesting blocking pre-emptively an instance (which based on the domain name was obviously bad). I was just surprised to not see it. I did not see any spam on my instance (it makes sense since pretty much no one is on my instance yet)
