Jakob | Never used it with docker.
What does the console in developer-tools say?
| 10:00:50 |
javahippie | And which image / which version do you run? | 10:14:52 |
setop | from my understanding, framasoft changed the access so my pipeline can not publish anymore. | 14:18:41 |
setop | What is the issue ? | 16:30:36 |

avocado_moon | I'm using v4.0.2 and with docker and everything seems fine for me with chromium based browsers | 13:27:13 |
avocado_moon | I'm working on an open source project dedicated to unbinding events from any specific platform (ex. posts on Google Calendar being taken and re-posted on any other platform). And the only landing point for all of these events which are scraped is Mobilizon (ctgrassroots for an example). | 13:31:50 |
avocado_moon | But Mobilizon seems to be going through a rough patch, so is there any other publication endpoints which would be desired? | 13:32:49 |
avocado_moon | The open source repository. | 13:33:05 |

cos | avocado_moon: sounds much like my project at https://github.com/vranki/mobilizon-importer | 07:36:33 |
cos | Standard ical import would be really useful, and it would also work for google calendars. Our hacklab uses nextcloud's calendar and that provides ical also. | 07:46:31 |

mcnesium | starting to experiment with mobilizon again. running v5.0.1 I published a test event (seriously, only testing :D ) and since I follow the group, the post also showed up in my mastodon account. however, the language seems to be portugese (i guess) because it says 11 de novembro de 2024 in the text of the post (screenshot). I wonder where that comes from, because my mobilizon language setting is english, my mastodon language setting is english, also my browser and my OS is set to english, and the location is in Germany. are there any hidden defaults? :) | 14:12:05 |
setop | Very weird indeed.
Could be the timezone
Could be the local of the author
It would be useful to have the original document that was sent to / received by Mastodon. | 14:29:42 |
setop | BTW : I can reproduce it on a Mastodon v4.2.13 instance. | 14:34:55 |
mcnesium | what else can I provide? I have no access to the logs on that masto instance chaos.social | 14:38:41 |
mcnesium | portugals time zone is UTC+0 maybe that is involved 🤔 | 14:41:03 |
setop | here is what comes from your user/actor outbox (https://events.exma.de/@testgruppe/outbox) : https://jsonhero.io/j/HD1KekRAYzHq | 15:09:06 |
setop | the summary field is in language "gl" (Galician). | 15:10:05 |
setop | did you temporary switch to this local ? | 15:10:34 |
mcnesium | no, not at all | 15:13:37 |
mcnesium | but this is only for that specific event, right? | 15:13:47 |
mcnesium | where would I set that? | 15:15:05 |
mcnesium | maybe it is set somewhere and I did not realize and thus not change that setting | 15:15:44 |
setop | indeed, the six others in the outbox are "de". | 15:26:44 |
