tykayn | if there is a trick to try before getting into upgrading the system | 22:27:05 |
tykayn | i tried to compile glibc from source on it but it fails asking to build in an other castle. i mean folder. | 22:27:48 |
setop | There are many dependencies that could require a specific minimal version of glibc : the beam, python interpreter, any library (like fast_html ?) | 22:31:25 |
setop | That is where Docker shines : no need to touch the host system. | 22:32:02 |

Kerstin (she/her) | Happy to see a new Mobilizon release, which looks like it's meant as the first stable release for version 5? I also wanted to note, that you need to change the version numbers in package.json an mix.exs (and a few other places) for the release. Maybe creating a release checklist would help, so that thinking of all these different steps would become routine? | 10:16:46 |
cos | Nothing on news page yet | 10:17:37 |
Jakob | And no release-files... only source-code available. | 10:51:46 |

Do they come later? Or do i have to compile mobilizon myself? It should be nice to have a coherent naming for the packages or a latest stable branch... For example in Yunohost we used autoupdate strategy to open CI when a new release is comming, but here the naming of the packages changed...
autoupdate.strategy = "latest_gitlab_release"
autoupdate.asset.amd64 = "mobilizon_.*_amd64-debian-bookworm.tar.gz"
autoupdate.asset.amd64 = "mobilizon_.*_amd64-debian-bullseye.tar.gz"
autoupdate.asset.arm64 = "mobilizon_.*_arm64-debian-bullseye.tar.gz"
