As it utilizes the GPU even more than heavy gaming At one point that was true, but it really isn't these days. Miners actually UNDERCLOCK the GPU for mining. They overclock the RAM but underclock the GPU. One of the main reasons is performance per watt. Use less electricity to get the same amount of work out of it. In my case, without underclocking, I got 50 mh/s and WITH underclocking, I get 60 mh/s
I'm mining with my 3070 on the side and the temp stays about 60C. It never reaches gaming temps.
