Idiot B-56 | What Multitroid version do you have? | 22:20:22 |
Idiot B-56 | 1.4.2? | 22:20:30 |
r453ymon9y | yes | 22:20:33 |
Idiot B-56 | Ah, that version is outdated | 22:20:41 |
Idiot B-56 | Newest version is 1.6.2 | 22:20:55 |
r453ymon9y | What version should I use? | 22:21:08 |
Idiot B-56 | Gimmie a second | 22:21:15 |
Idiot B-56 | https://github.com/DodoBirby/AM2R-Multitroid-Unofficial-Patch/releases/tag/1.6.2 | 22:21:23 |
ianluminus | If they're on the same network, why not just use the LAN IP (192.168.whatever)? | 22:22:02 |
Idiot B-56 | Either way though, I saw you connect to my server, so at least your firewall isn't blocking your am2r | 22:22:03 |
Idiot B-56 | That's what I was trying to tell them earlier | 22:22:17 |
Idiot B-56 | But I don't know what their LAN IP is so I can't tell them what to put in | 22:22:54 |
r453ymon9y | ok | 22:23:02 |
r453ymon9y | I update it right? | 22:23:04 |
Idiot B-56 | Yes | 22:23:12 |
Idiot B-56 | Your bro needs to do the same | 22:23:36 |
r453ymon9y | ok wait a moment | 22:23:40 |
ianluminus | Windows Task Manager is your friend. It'll have the Lan IP in Performance tab -> network adapter. | 22:24:28 |
ianluminus | No need to mess with cmd | 22:24:36 |
Idiot B-56 | Oh really? | 22:24:44 |
Idiot B-56 | I always use IPconfig xd | 22:24:51 |
Idiot B-56 | Oh taht is really cool | 22:25:19 |
Idiot B-56 | Much easier to navigate to as well | 22:25:32 |
Idiot B-56 | Download image.png | 22:26:54 |
r453ymon9y | I already updated it now, what do I do? | 22:28:28 |
Idiot B-56 | Do you have the server open? | 22:28:45 |
ianluminus | Download image.png | 22:28:46 |
ianluminus | Blocked out stuff, but this is what mine looks like. R45, your brother would use the "IPv4" address that's in your Task Manager on their Multitroid Settings, with the default port of 64198. You only need radmin or port forwarding if you want people from the outside internet to be able to connect. | 22:28:47 |
r453ymon9y | I just closed it | 22:29:24 |
ianluminus | And you, as host, can always use 127.0.0.1 to connect to your own server. | 22:29:28 |
