Really? The site says it's still in beta and the install guide isn't there yet. I'm looking forward to starting an anthropology-focused instance on a Hetzner server as soon as it's available. I think it would be great if OLKi or its partners started a runcloud.io-like hosting control panel that can automatically configure servers that are secure and optimized for running OLKi on any VPS. I already asked runcloud about it as a largely app-agnostic control panel but they said they don't support PostgresSQL. I'd prefer something in between a self-configured VPS and a fully managed host provider, but I'm still looking for a solution. I’ve been in contact with Rajendra Zore, CMO and product strategist at RunCloud and he’s at least curious about working together to make their service compatible with Olki. They currently don’t support PostgresSQL but if Olki were to create install scripts and then handle the configuration and maintenance of Olki and PostgresSQL on runcloud they would handle the rest as usual. They usually work through user feature requests by votes but I got his attention by the potential and possible interest of large organizations for the Olki platform and they are at least interested in providing input and resources to make one-click Olki install and server management dashboard for Olki’s stack happen on runcloud! | 17:49:57 |
