We do have the ability to add an "apology slide" to the video. It looks like the second slide at https://github.com/FOSDEM/video/issues/233 and it will be inserted after the opening slide but before the main video. Suggestions for the wording are welcome.

Oh interesting. Maybe just put something like ~2 minutes of no audio/video of presenter - just so people know it’ll come back?

jklowden: what Matthew said -- the whole point of that review interface is so you can edit it and we don't have to do it for you. We used to do that (e.g., in 2014), and then it took us until September to review everything...

Seriously, thanks for correcting me. I edited the video. The only question is have is about something it said upon submission:

The audio channel should be changed to channel 0

I didn't mean to change the audio channel. IMO the audio quality is great.

It's not stuck, it just takes a long time. We've had talks taking 8 hours.

I have configured the system so that we have high throughput, rather than quick turnaround per individual talk. It does mean you need to wait a bit though.

That message is indeed confusing. It's because at the point where it is generated, we don't know whether the requested channel and the old channel differ. This is something that's on my to-do list to fix.

Channel 0 is the default channel though, so it's the correct thing if you liked the default.
